What is the difference between interior architect and interior design?

Interior architects, though often grouped with interior designers, take on a bigger task than making a room or building aesthetically pleasing. They take into account what is practical and beautiful, but they must also understand the structure of a building in order to make it safe and functional.

Interior architects deal with structural renovations.

Koby gets involved on a more technical level in your design process, creating whole structures of an interior. Working with builders, contractors, and technicians to facilitate the rebuilding or renovation of an existing structure; specializing in designing and building interiors for safety, functionality and aesthetics. He understands the importance to know the durability and strength of building materials, yet also the skills in use of light, color and textures of a space. Consultations are key- We always start with an person meeting, to hear a clients wants/needs, as well as offering suggestions, and most importantly getting a visual of the space. Drafting your design plans may show placement of walls, windows, doors, plumbing, electrical systems, ventilation, structural accents and possibly furnishings.
Most importantly all designs are constructed with the knowledge of federal, state and local building regulations to be certain they are up-to-code.
